Located under the mango tree next to the Japanese-style dormitory group in Hinoy Senhuo Village, Chiayi, Taiwan, the design of "+1 Wooden Pavilion" is based on the image of a roundabout railway route, originating from the end of the existing pedestrian walkway and extending into the depths of the existing woods, introduce crowd activities into the idle green space, and coordinate the height relationship between the wooden pavilion and the surrounding buildings, reduce the impact of the wooden pavilion on the visual height of the surrounding environment and take into account the function of use.

+1 The wooden structure of the wooden pavilion surrounded by trees symbolizes the geographical environment of Chiayi's many forests. The railway runs through the forests, supporting the historical texture of the vigorous development of the forest economy, and uses a 100% Taiwan plantation domestic timber structure system to present the characteristics of Chiayi Timber City. The wooden pavilion is made of Taiwan cedar plywood with different curvatures, and the concept of forming one piece from the wooden table to the wooden pavilion is subtly integrated into the Japanese-style historical building complex and the natural environment, preserving the surrounding mango trees. The design concept of lightness, and natural and historical buildings is integrated with the original appearance of the base, combined with the use of Taiwanese plantation fruit products.

Gently draw a line on the ground and pass through the woods, symbolizing the forest railway of Alishan, the forest and the iron, also representing the passage of time, and the coexistence of the core stage and rest area coexisting with the micro-sculptures between the curves. Under the concept of a sustainable forest, the +1 wooden pavilion is completely made of domestically produced Taiwanese cedar.
